A conversation at my mother’s dinner table with my daughter (Caolinn) and the twins (Xavier and Liam). My mother, for the record, said NONE of this.
Liam: “Grandma said that I’m her favorite twin.”
Caolinn: “Yeah, but I’m her favorite overall grandchild.”
Liam: “We all know that, Caolinn, but I’m the favorite of the twins.”
Xavier: “What the HELL, Grandma!?”
HA HA HA! Kids have a tendency to want to be the best no matter the contest. It is harder when you are the ONLY grandchild like mine was for 26 years.. LOL!
And YOU said…..?
I’m not getting in the middle of that noise. Lol
Speaking as the youngest of three, I have no knowledge of any more favorable treatment any sibling might have ever received from any parent or grandparent anywhere ever…
Suuuuuure. 🙂
I am sure among our grandkids there is more competition to be Grandma’s favorite than Grandpa’s. But that is because Grandma is ever so much more doting. :)–Curt
I have zero doubt. 🙂
